1. Our Contract 

• By booking a Trip with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and Binding Arbitration.

 

2. Deposit Requirement

• A non-refundable deposit of $650 USD per person (or equivalent in other currencies) is required to secure your spot on any Breacans Trip. If we do not receive this deposit, we cannot guarantee you a space. Once this deposit has been received, we will send a confirmation of your spot. The remaining must be paid 90 days prior to departure. 

 

3. Cancelation

• In order to cancel your participation on the Trip, you must provide Breacans with a written notification of your cancellation by email. The date of your cancellation is the date on which Breacans receives such notification. If you cancel your participation in the Trip, the cancelation fees listed below will apply.  

• We understand plans change, however, all $650 USD deposits are non-refundable.

• If you cancel your participation 91 days or more prior to the group, a fee of $400 USD per person will apply. 

• If you cancel your participation 45 to 91 days prior to the group arrival date, a fee of 50% of the Trip cost will apply. 

• If you cancel your participation 31 to 44 days prior to the group arrival date, a fee of 75% of the Trip cost will apply. 

• If you cancel your participation 30 or fewer days prior to the group arrival date, a fee of 100% of the Trip will apply. 

• If you leave a Trip for any reason after it has commenced or miss any features thereon, no refunds for unused services will be made. 

 

4. Things to Consider

• Breacans Trips are one of a kind Trips that have been specifically created by Travis & Ross. Our aim is to be inclusive of all genders, sexual orientations, races, and ethnicities. Before signing up, please be aware that you will be with a group of people from different backgrounds, identities, and political views. 

• Guests cannot join halfway through the trip or join for certain portions. Although you are more than welcome to leave the trip at any time, the trip must be paid for in its entirety, and you will not receive a refund for incomplete portions of the trip. If you do opt to leave at any time during the trip, we endeavour to assist with your needs as best we can, but the costs incurred by doing so will not be covered by the trip fee, by Ross & Travis or by the Breacans company. 

• If you are part of the LGBTQ+ community, you will likely be safe; members of the staff are both part of the community and are allies.

• There is a zero tolerance of drugs. If you bring or acquire any drugs (that are not prescribed by your doctor) while on this trip, you will be removed immediately and will not be refunded for any portion of the trip you will have missed. 

• We understand people will want to have some drinks at night, but please bear in mind that we will have some early mornings. It will be your own responsibility to be ready to hit the road in the morning. We will be unable to accommodate people that want to sleep in.

 

5. Your Details

• In order for us to confirm your travel arrangements, you must provide your full name as per your passport, date of birth, and any preexisting medical or other conditions you have which may affect your ability to complete your travel arrangements. 

• You are required to answer all questions listed when reserving your spot. This will allow us to better assist you during the Trip. Additional information, such as passport number, etc., may be required on a trip-by-trip basis. 

 

6. Itinerary Disclaimer

• While it is our intention to adhere to the route described in the itinerary, there is a certain amount of flexibility built into the itinerary and on occasion it may be necessary, or desirable, to make alterations. The trip details are a general guide to the tour and region and any mention of specific destinations or wildlife is by no means a guarantee that they will be seen or encountered. Additionally, any travel times listed are approximate only and subject to vary due to local circumstances.

 

7. Inclusions

• The price of your trip includes:

  • All accommodation and meals as listed in the itinerary.

  • All transport listed in the itinerary.

  • Sightseeing, activity, and entry fees as listed in the itinerary.

  • The services of a group leader(s) as described in the itinerary. 

 

8. Exclusions

• The price of your trip does not include:

  • International or domestic flights and other transport to/from the country beginning and end points of Breacans Trips itinerary.

  • Individual travel insurance.

  • Excess baggage charges.

  • Food and beverages other than that specified in the itinerary. 

  • All personal expenses.

  • Any expenses not listed in the Inclusions section.

 

9. Accommodations

• We will not be staying in 5* hotels throughout the trip, but equally, we have made sure that we are staying in unique, reputable and comfortable accommodation. Accommodation will vary in quality depending on where we are. 

• To keep costs at a responsible price and to accommodate the diversity of the group, you will most likely be rooming with someone (whether you are traveling with someone or traveling alone). If you are traveling with a friend or partner, please let us know and we will make sure you are put in the same room.

• Single Travellers: We believe single travellers should not have to pay more to travel so our group trips are designed for shared accommodation and do not involve a single supplement. Single travellers joining the trip will be paired up with another traveler in a twin or multi-share accommodation with someone.

 

10. Age and Health Requirements

• General Policy: All travellers must be at least 18 years old by the date of travel. We have no upper age limit, although passengers must ensure that they are suitably fit to allow full participation. Please be prepared for very full and active days.

11. Visas and Entry Fees

• All countries require a valid passport (with a minimum of 6 months validity). Contact your local embassy, or consulate for the most up-to-date visa requirements. It is your responsibility to have the correct travel documentation.

 

12. General Waiver

• You acknowledge that during our trip you participate voluntarily in any and all activities arranged by the trip organisers (Breacans company, Ross & Travis), and insofar as legally permissible, surrender your right to any cause of action against the Breacans company, Ross & Travis arising from any loss or damage to person or property that occurs during the trip.

 

13. Acceptance of Risk

• You acknowledge that the nature of the Trip is adventurous and participation involves a degree of personal risk. It is your own responsibility to acquaint yourself with all possible relevant travel information and the nature of your itinerary. You acknowledge that your decision to travel is made in light of consideration of the United States Department of State and the Centres for Disease Control provide valuable, country-specific information regarding health and safety information. 14. Medical and Health Issues

• I take full responsibility for my medical, psychological, and physical condition for the duration of my travels with Breacans. I am unaware of any medical, psychological, or physical problems that would, in any way, impair my ability to complete the trip safely or to engage in all of the activities of it, nor am I aware of any health-related condition or limitation that might impact the safety, security, or comfort of my traveling companions. Should I receive any new information regarding my health before my trip departs, I will notify Breacans Group Leaders. I will immediately notify the trip leader and take full responsibility for promptly accessing necessary and appropriate medical care. I take full responsibility for possessing adequate medical health insurance coverage to pay for the medical care I may require during my travels with Breacans.

 

15. Third Parties

• We hold no responsibility for the actions or omissions of third parties or independent contractors, including in the event that they modify the nature of a service on our trip as compared with the advertised nature of the service.

 

16. Non-Tour Activities

• Non-tour activities do not form part of the trip. Any assistance given by your group leader or local representative in arranging such activities does not render Breacans reliable for them in any way. The contract for the provision for that activity will be between you and the activity provider.

17. Photo and Video Release Form

• I hereby grant to the Breacans company, Ross & Travis the absolute and irrevocable right and unrestricted permission to use photographic portraits/images/ videos in which I feature that are taken during the course of the trip to use / re-publish / copyright, etc. for commercial use in association with the Breacans’  business. I hereby release and discharge Breacans, Ross & Travis from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of the photographs and video footage, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or invasion of privacy.

 

18. Baggage

• Baggage and personal property are at owner’s risk at all times.

• Please bear in mind you will be sharing space in all vehicles, so space will be limited.
