Daily Schedule
28 Dec: London to Cancun
Flight Number: BA2203
Class: World Traveller Plus
10:45 am departure from London Gatwick (South Terminal)
16:45 pm arrival at Cancun International Airport (Terminal 3)
When you land in Cancun, you'll go through immigration, pick up your bags and then head through customs. Once through, you'll get to the arrivals hall where your driver will be picking you up and taking you to your Valladolid. The drive is approx 2 hours.
In Valladolid, you're staying at the Hotel Refugio 41 (details below) for the next two nights. If there are any issues with directions, tell the driver to call the hotel. If you need to jump on Google, tap the link below and it'll open up Google Maps. Just so you can visualise where you're going (and know you're in the right place!) photos of the hotel are in the gallery below.
Although this was booked on Airbnb, it is a hotel so there will be someone there to meet you. I don't anticipate you arriving until about 8:00pm, at the earliest.
My suggestions for dinner is below, but you're welcome to drop into anywhere near this place if you'd prefer.

29 Dec: Chichén Itzá & Valladolid
Happy Birthday Munz!
This morning you're heading to Chichén Itzá, one of the "New 7 Wonders of the World." The the gates open at 8am but you could arrive for 9am. More details in your PDF schedule.
Most people spend about 3 hours at Chichén Itzá. Its a big complex with lots to see and learn, but many visitors head for the iconic Temple of Kukulkan to get that all famous shot. You can get a guide at the entrance who'll take you around, and the driver will sort this out with you. Again, more details on PDF.
Once you're done in Chichén Itzá, at about 12:00, you'll head to a restaurant and cenote called Tsukan. This is about 20 mins from Chichén Itzá. After you've had food and a dip, you'll head back to Valladolid.
I reckon you'll get arrive in Valladolid at around 4pm so you could relax a bit before heading to dinner.

30 Dec: Valladolid to Wakax Hacienda
A continental breakfast is served at 8am, so you can relax, grab some food, and then head out on a short "free" morning tour of Valladolid at 11am. The tour is not pre-booked so if you want to do your own thing, you could change your plans. Might be a good idea to pack up before you head out on your morning tour though, coz checkout is 12 noon.
Once you're all checked out, you could grab lunch in Valladolid and then head to Tulum (Wakax Hacienda). The drive is about 1 hr 45 mins, and the driver will stop at one cenote on the way.
Wakax Hacienda has a wellness spa, with a sweat lodge experience (?!), two cenotes and a lovely restaurant. Maybe on your first night you could hang out here and enjoy the space. After your tour, you'll get back to hotel at around 2pm and you can relax and get sorted for your NYE.

1 Jan: Tulum New Years Day
No doubt this will also be a bit of lie in day. New Years Day on January 1st is a National Holiday so I wouldn't expect there to be too many things open. Perhaps another day to relax and enjoy the hotel or head to a beach restaurant.

Today you're checking out and heading to Ma'xanab. Sort out taxis with your hotel and pay them directly. I wouldn't rush to check out as check in won't be until 3pm.
