The idea...​

Step away from the noise of daily life and escape to a corner of Scotland that most people never get to experience, a coastal village, called Auchencairn, in Dumfries & Galloway. This is a place where sea, rugged cliffs, sky and open fields make the perfect backdrop for a proper reset.

Over three nights and four days, you’ll settle into my family home with a view over the Solway Firth. Here, with a small group of like-minded travellers, you’ll unplug, get inspired and reconnect with what actually matters.

We will be arranging free transportation from Lockerbie train station to Auchencairn (and back!). Transportation to Lockerbie is not included, but you can get there by direct train from Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Accommodation
We'll all be staying in Collin House (Ross' family home), which has the most beautiful view over the Solway Firth. On a clear day you can even see England!

We'll have use of the whole house, which has plenty of space, including two cosy sitting rooms, a dining room, kitchen, laundry room and a whole barn/event space.
​​​​
There are 6 guest bedrooms in total. 4 of them facing the sea and then 2 facing the garden.

Pricing
​The price of the retreat is from USD $890 (GBP £670).
​​
This price is per person, based on double occupancy (i.e. sharing a room).​ The final price will vary slightly, depending on the room and if you're sharing with a partner.​ If you would rather a private room, this is available for an additional fee, which we'll go through when we chat.
​
In order to reserve your spot, we first request a quick 15 min video call. If the trip is right for you, we'll send through a link to pay your deposit of USD $175. This deposit is fully refundable for 7 days after payment.​​

Activities
​
At various points, we'll be outside and on our feet. In some cases, this will involve dirt and/or cobblestone paths. The most physical things we'll be doing are the coastal cliff walk and the walk up Ben Gairn (the hill behind the house). If you'd rather sit these out, that is totally ok.
